Rán, the old sea-goddess, hoards her treasure in blue depths - and Bali Blue is aptly named for it. Grown by smallholder farmers in Kintamani's volcanic highlands and finished by hand, picked, wet-hulled, and dried on raised beds, this Indonesian lot runs deep where others skim the surface.
A med-dark roast heavy with dark chocolate, molasses, and brown sugar: sweetness with an undertow. Sink into it.
